William B. Shinoff
William Shinoff is an associate in the San Diego office and represents school districts, county office of educations and joint power authorities in the San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and Imperial counties.
Mr. Shinoff provides assistance to education administrators on a variety of personnel and general education issues, including certificated and classified discipline and dismissal; workplace and student investigation; Uniform Complaint investigations and responses; conflicts of interest and Form 700 reporting; defending employers against allegations of discrimination with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and Equal Opportunity Commission; and defending employers against allegations of Civil Rights Violations with the Office of Civil Rights. He also handles and/or litigates special education due process hearings, Section 504 complaints, and CDE compliance complaints.
Mr. Shinoff graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law and served as an associate editor for California Western Law Review. He received an academic achievement award in Evidence and was a member of the California Western Jewish Student Union, 2009-2011.
