Maurice Bumbu graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2018, and received his undergraduate degree in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014.

During law school, Mr. Bumbu served as an extern at Artiano Shinoff, and worked as a law clerk for an insurance and construction defect litigation firm. He was a member of USD Law’s Moot Court Associate and Executive Boards and represented the school in national and international moot court tournaments, receiving multiple awards and distinctions for his performance.
Before joining Artiano Shinoff, Mr. Bumbu worked for a consumer-protection firm. His practice areas include education law, employment law, public-entity law, and general tort litigation.

Mr. Bumbu is fluent in Russian. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing soccer and guitar.
